| WHY JOIN A STAMP CLUB? One of the major benefits of joining a stamp club is the interaction with other collectors. Meeting new collectors and old pros provides for the exchange of information, enables you to acquire philatelic material for your collection, and gives you the sheer joy of sharing your hobby and experiences with someone who is interested in what you have to say. At present, we have over 50 paid up members in the club. Life-long friendships have developed in such circumstances. Why not give it a try? You will be pleased with the results. CLUB PROGRAM Members, guests and visitors gather around 6:30pm and spend an hour or more viewing philatelic material for sale or trade at the various venues and exchange philatelic chit-chat with other members. A short business session and raffle around 8:00 pm is followed by the evening program which usually ends around 8:30 pm. Another half hour of "stamping" activities concludes the evening by 9:00 pm. Naturally, free coffee and refreshments are available throughout the evening. CLUB MEETINGS We meet at the Immanuel Alliance Church, 1600 Sherbrooke Street West on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, September to June, from 6:30 to 9:00 pm except January through February when we meet from 1:00 to 3:30 pm. In the summer (July and August) we meet on the second Tuesday of July and the fourth Tuesday in August. Free parking and easy access to the church. See map below for directions.
